History and Mission

Race for Peace was founded in January, 2006 as a 501 c (3) nonprofit and is headquartered in New York.
Our goal is to build a global community of sports participants and fans dedicated to fostering a culture of peace. We are currently focused on fundraising for organizations that support and/or promote cultural awareness, international understanding and child relief. In future we may support other peace related organizations and programs as well.

Grants

Our Grantmaking Guidelines:

  • Grantees must principally support cultural awareness, international understanding and child relief
  • Grantees must be a 501c (3) organization
  • Grantees must adhere to the guidelines of guidestar.org, charitynavigator.com or the BBB Wise Giving Alliance
  • Grantees must not be engaged in any political, religious or military activities
